Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek with new In Colors

I must admit that I probably would never have ordered this stamp set.  It's not, "me".  But I received it FREE in a bundle of products that I got from Stampin' Up! for meeting my title requirements.  I really LOVE that about Stampin' Up! and it's something they recently started.  (They're always doing something new and wonderful and motivating.) I must admit that the set is growing on me.

The way I envisioned this card was a little different than it ended up, but the new In Colors are absolutely luscious, and the new stamp pad style is perfection.  After I stamped the 4 x 5 1/4 panel of Very Vanilla, I rubbed the entire panel with my Embossing Buddy.  Then I stamped the large floral image from the same new stamp set (comes out in the new catalog, CLICK HERE to find out how to get your NEW CATALOG right away) with Versamark ink and embossed with Stampin' Up!s Cherry Scented clear embossing powder. The sentiment and flag are a new stamp set and a new set of framelits for use with the Big Shot. The bird is raised with Stampin' Dimensionals and I added Basic Rhinestones to the primrose colored flowers.

Stampin' Up! New Catalog Sneek Peek!

My first card was done with current ink colors, a new stamp set and new designer series paper that I was able to earn for FREE as a demonstrator, a current stamp set (Petite Pairs), whisper white paper and Basic Rhinestones.  The images in this new stamp set are going to be great fun to play and create with. (And yes, I'm going to end that sentence with a preposition.) Ink colors are Tangerine Tango, Rose Red, Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade.

These next two cards use the same stamp set, but I changed up the ink on the flowers and the card base (that yellowy mustardy color is NEW!).  The designer series patterned papers are from another NEW pack with which you are going fall in love! It's so rich and romantic.  I borrowed the layout idea directly from a card I saw on StamperCamper's blog.  (She's amazing.)  I really love this layout because it allows me to use 2 patterned papers, a conservative amount of ribbon and yet the focal point is still the beautiful stamped panel.

The measurements of the patterned paper panels are 5 1/2 x 3 and 4 1/4 x 2.  The stamped panel measures 4 x 2 1/2.  (Those pearls are not Stampin' Up!...sorry...but I know you can color our pearls with Sharpies and Copic markers).
