Easy Stampin' Up! Ice Cream Parlor scrapbook page

I made this scrapbook page the other day and wanted to share it with you since I used the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I traced the chipboard on Old Olive Paper cut out and glued to the Chipboard.  After the glue was dry, I rubbed Versamark ink all over it and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Other than that, the page was really easy.  These photos of my boy are a few years old and were taken in San Diego.  I miss southern California.
The Ice Cream Parlor paper and the buttons and ribbon pack are FREE items that you can choose when you place an order of $50 right now during Sale-A-Bration.
Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Up! Fancy Flower So Happy For You

I was reminded yesterday by a fellow blogger's post how much I enjoy 2-step stamping.  My very first Stampin' Up! set was a 2-step stamping set (Heartfelt Thanks).  So I pulled out an old Idea Book and Catalog for some inspiration and here's what I came up with.  I think we'll be doing it for tomorrow nights club meeting, but I haven't decided for sure.
I used the Fancy Flower stamp set and stamped the outline with Staz On jet black ink on Very Vanilla card stock. Then, using the stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the inside image of the flower in Pretty In Pink.  Before I stamped the image, I used a Rose Red marker to color the center of the flower.
These are all the images you receive when you order the Flower Fancy Stamp Set.
And these are the images in the So Happy For You Sale-A-Bration set.
I highly recommend using the Stamp-a-ma-jig for 2-step stamping.  It's an amazing tool and easy to use.  It comes with complete instructions.
Please let me know if you have any questions.  I check my comments everyday and really enjoy reading them.  And of course, you can always email me!  And don't forget that with a $50 purchase right now you can get the So Happy For You stamp set FREE during Sale A Bration!
And if you're looking for MORE ways to get free stamps, check out my Rewards Program!  The fun never ends!

Stampin' Up! Lucky Shamrock gift bags.

Gettin' in the mood for St. Patty's day! If you are a demonstrator, there is a video on how to do the embossed gift bag on stampinconnection.com HERE.  (The link will work if you are logged in to StampinConnection) If you are not a demonstrator (what are you waiting for?), and you want directions, please let me know. I'll be happy to help.
We're going to be doing some version of one of these bags tomorrow night at our Sidney Stamp Club.  Can't wait!  I love Stamp Club nights!
The extra little scalloped edge on the middle bag is made from parts of the petal cone die form the occasions mini catalog 2011.

You will only need sticky strip in the two locations shown to put the box together.  Stick strip is THE BEST for holding together 3-D projects.
Now I just need to make some treats to put in these cute little boxes!
Thanks for stopping by! I would love to read your comments about these little boxes.
Till later,
Kelly

Stampin' Up! Sweet Summer using Double Embossing technique

The highlighted technique over at Splitcoaststamers yesterday was double embossing.  Since I don't have any nestabilities dies from Spellbinders, I don't think my card actually qualifies as double embossed.  But I did use the first part of the technique which is to create a framed area in my embossed background that is not embossed.  It's very subtle, but I like the results.  Check out the tutorial over at Splitcoaststamers here for the How To.
The gathered ribbon is explained in another one of my posts HERE.
This Sweet Summer Stamp set is available right now for FREE with the purchase of $50 in product! Don't miss out! Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st! See more information and the complete Sweet Summer Stamp Set HERE in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please let me know if you have any questions.
