Cards Inspired by Dresses

So yesterday, I had some time to create and instead of looking at other peoples cards to inspire me, I decided to look at dresses.  Having moved to tin buck two this last year, I do VERY little shopping. So I went to Nordstrom.com and started looking at dresses.
Ingredients: Kraft and basic black cardstock, I {heart} hearts and Tiny Tags stamp sets, Versa mark, Soft Suede and Basic black ink, black embossing powder, crystal effects, Stampin Write basic black marker, Crystal Rhinestone brad, Stampin dimensionals, Finial embossing folder, Scribbles swirls sizzlit and the Big Shot.

The post from yesterday was also inspired by a dress! What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by and I'd love to hear your comments.

Shimmery Vintage Card

I have to tell you that I LOVE the shimmer paint. I hope you can see the glittery effect it has given this card.  I just added a few drops of the champagne mist shimmer paint to a mini mister bottle and filled the rest of the mister with rubbing alcohol.  Then spritz away!  Because you're using alcohol, it dries super quick.  I misted the background piece of creamy caramel completely.  I misted the flowers before I cut them out and I misted the label before attaching it to the card. In person this is REALLY PRETTY! You simple must try it!

Sets used were Vintage Labels (only available FREE with a $50 purchase now through March 31st, 2010) and Vintage Vogue available in the new 2010 Mini Occasions Catalog.
Other ingredients: Big Top Note die, Chocolate chip, creamy caramel, blush blossom cardstock, chocolate chip ink, stampin sponges, gold brads and chocolate chip 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, small oval punch, wide oval punch, and the Big Shot.

Thanks for stopping by and I would love to see your comments!
